MIAMI-DADE INTERGROUP is a Central Service Office that facilitates and encourages a partnership among all groups in our Alcoholics Anonymous community. Established in September 1947 as Greater Miami Intergroup, we have, for over 60 years, helped our A.A. community by carrying out certain functions common When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help, we want the hand of A.A. to be there. Intergroup is most oftern where the alcoholic first calls or shows up for help. Just as groups are fully self-supporting, so is the Central Service Office. Miami-Dade Intergroup needs your financial support in order to help your group and you, the individual, carry A.A.'s message of hope and recovery to the suffering alcoholic. Among many other servces, Intergroup manages a 24-hour helpline and a Twelve Step Relay; publishes the "When & Where" and "The Messenger", handles all requests for public information; and mantains a website with meeting information and printable maps. In addition, we provide a complete inventory of A.A. literature for groups and individuals. Members may express gratitude for their sobriety through contributions to Miami-Dade Intergroup. Some members choose to send a dollar a year for each year of sobriety they have enjoyed; some give more, some less. Whatever you are able to give will be greatly appreciated. We thank you for your dedication to A.A.'s Legacy of Service!
